The Tilden Trail Run begins at 8:30AM on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Spillway Picnic Area in Tilden Regional Park.  There is limited free parking so please carpool whenever possible.

Check in and Bib Pickup: 

7:30AM - 8:30AM. Please arrive and check in at least 30 minutes before the start of your event.


Course Markings:

  • The course will be marked with ribbons approximately every 200 yards.
  • Multiple ribbons will be placed together indicating a turn at an intersection.
  • The ribbons will be before and on the same side as the turn to point you in the right direction.
  • If you do not see any ribbons after 1-2 minutes, you are off course.  You should retrace your route until you find the last ribbon.


Common Courtesy:

Please be courteous on the trail. The trails are not for the exclusive use of runners so announce "on your left" as you approach any runner, hiker, bicyclist or horse riders.


Headphones:

Headphones are not permitted any time during the race for the safety of you and the other runners on the trail.


Dogs:

No dogs are allowed on the course at any time and please do not leave your pets in the vehicle during the race.


Aid stations:

There will be one fully stocked aid station at the start/finish area and there will be one station with water, sports drinks and various snacks at approximately mile 1.5 and 4 for the 10K and miles 1.5, 6.5 and 9.5 for the half marathon runners.  IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT RUNNERS CARRY AT LEAST 16 OZ OF WATER.


Bathrooms:

Toilets are available at the start/finish area only.  The race is in a wilderness area people!


Shirts:

All registered runners will receive a technical fabric shirt with a custom race design for this particular event.  The shirts are made from a soft moisture-wicking fabric and are short sleeved.  To be guaranteed your shirt size, you must register by September 15, 2022.


Awards:

Custom awards will be given to the overall winners (male and female) of each distance as well as to the winners of each age group for both males and females.
